valuable lessons in bike maintenance

it’s been over a year since i’ve owned a bike and i’ve never understood bike maintenance, especially when online research has incredibly information compared to speaking to workshop mechanics - the other factor is also because the bike i own is consider a vintage motorcycle, and its parts are much harder to source where i’m based

what happened this time was a breakdown after a build up of a dead spark plug + clogged carbuerator + low power battery: where for a few weeks it took me a really long time to start the engine, until the final day i tried for more than 3 times to start it till the battery died

a tow to the workshop for a battery swap, spark plug replacement and carbuerator cleaning - gotta keep in mind to change my plugs every once in a while so this doesn’t happen again
