the DANTE project - lessons learnt

DIY in every single aspect is always the better and more sustainable option when trying to figure out what exactly i'm trying to achieve creatively
i.e. painting my own clothes for my performance outfit

accessible, #open-source tools should not have bad reputations of not being able to get the job done - use tools that i'm familiar with to try to experiment and create things with end products that i'm not sure of - try, build, try, build, repeat

also printing with a household printer will never be of quality - buy paper then go to print shops and pay them, prints are worth paying for, but make sure to do test prints at home as shop charge for test prints too

be very picky with designers, although most of them are of the gig economy and have their own style, I got lucky with my designer for the DANTE project as he understood my vision completely from listening to the music - most designers don't have an auditory background or the skill of translating the vibe from music to design
