starting a cassette collection

day 2 of starting a cassette collection: it's so fun to discover vintage shops and discovering music this way - most of these are old artists and albums and i just love guessing at which ones i'm going to like and which ones i'm going to sample!

also just the physicality of putting something into the player and pressing a button to start playing

i kinda felt this with vinyls too but i think what i didn't really like about vinyls are that they're a little bulky to carry around - at the very least if i get a portable cassette player i can just carry it and a few favourite tapes around with me

also that they kinda feel like mini books to explore - really cool tech hehe
