Deeper dive into the Oberheim OB8 -

• boss got an IC tester to test all the logic chips in the OB8, all of them were ok
• found that it could be the RAM chips that might be damaged as there was a slight change after swapping the ram chip slots
• quite interesting since this unit has a MIDI mod, that was extended to get midi-in, midi-out and midi-sync ports to this synth
